This Lowe’s really needs to rethink a few things, starting with the parking lot. The speed bumps here are straight-up absurd — double stacked and aggressive enough to wreck a suspension. There is absolutely no reason for speed bumps like that in a retail parking lot. It’s a hardware store, not an off-road park.
Inside wasn’t much better. The customer service manager was flat-out hostile. Instead of helping, she talked over me, twisted what I said, and acted like I was the problem while their system couldn’t calculate basic pricing correctly. I ended up overpaying just to get out of there because the attitude and confrontation weren’t worth the fight.
The store itself is fine, but the combination of those ridiculous speed bumps and that kind of customer service makes the whole experience way more stressful than it should ever be.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
