  The employee that tried to help me was very young. Looked like he was in bad shape. Lips were blue and eyes were very red. The second employee was very inexperienced. I was looking for a Hayward multiport valve. I had to find it myself. The box was open. And the pice was 407.00 dollars. I found it at a local pool supply store for 237.00 and online for 149. Guess which one I chose.

  I appreciate the free water tests that Leslie’s provides, but I question their reliability. I have a Taylor K-2006 test kit which I use to test the water just prior to taking a sample to Leslie’s. Today I received very different results from Leslie’s compared to my own testing using the Taylor kit. Leslie’s told me my free chlorine was over 6, calcium hardness was 81 and salt was 3085. My tests on the same day produced a free chlorine reading of 4, calcium hardness of 175 and salt of 4000, which are all closer to optimum levels than the Leslie’s results. Given that, I went back and retested my water using my Taylor kit and got results consistent with my earlier test. I’m not sure what the issue is here but possibly Leslie’s needs to look into their process.

  I questioned their authority to commandeer the handicapped reserved spot in front of the store because my 98 year old mother needed it. The saleslady threatened to tow my car and call security on us!!! Oh, Leslie' s made a very good impression on us that day!!

  I am a new pool owner. I went into this location today and was helped by Cole. I had many questions and Cole took his time making sure I understood his answers. I was sent to this location by another location saying they would have a part I needed to replace on my chlorinator. The other location did not understand exactly what we needed and rushed us out. However, Cole took his time to thoroughly understand what I wanted. He located the additional parts at another location and confirmed with them that the part was available. I have heard mixed reviews about Leslie’s pool supplies customer service. I can imagine how people would get frustrated as there are many complexities to owning a pool and they do not have everything for everybody. However, I believe there’s a reason there are countless locations of this chain all over the Houston area because they really do try to get good customer service despite some people being difficult to work with. I’m leaving this review because Cole was extra extraordinary and I do think this location deserves five stars. Also thank you to Hector for assisting with some questions that Cole didn’t know the answer to. I will be back here.

  My go to store for all things Pool. They carry parts for my MX6 vacuum and you can find random things for your pool here. The service center is really good and they’re very friendly.
