- AHAl HenFeb 19, 20261.0I went in to make a payment during regular business hours on 02/17/26 and the door was locked with a sign that said on property. I waited around for about 20 minute. Then I called the number on the door twice and no one answered, So I left. I returned two days later 02/19/26 around the same time and again the door was locked with a sign that said on property. I decided to wait in my car until the person returned. After awhile I decided to call the number on the door. A lady answered immediately and said she’s been in the office all this time. So I politely asked why did she lock the door and display the sign that said she was on property. At that point she began extremely rude and said she locks the door for safety reasons, with no consideration for a customer waiting outside to pay his bill.. She act as if she was doing me a favour when she finally came and unlocked the door. Once inside she came across as a very arrogant person with no customer service skills. When I asked her name she said Silvia , with a deceptive tone. I strongly suggest that this lady be fired or enrolled in a customer service class. Otherwise she displays an ugly image for Extra Storage Space.

When you sign up it will say month to month but I feel as a consumer that is such a scam way to use "Current Market rate" jargon as a way to rip off people. Find a place that does at least yearly locked in rates, Extra Space increases every 6 months so January and June. They just say its Market Rates LOL. I know it was month to month but never thought it would KEEP going UP. I am out of state and now have to go back sooner than expected to move my items.
