I visited today, and I agree — the store manager was great! Extra Space is lucky to have them. However, my rating is not about the staff or facility, but the pricing. $70 for a 2nd-floor 5x10 unit feels very high. Based on the location, it seems like that rate takes advantage of people in the area. The online promotional rate of $40 sounds good at first, but it’s not locked in — it jumps to $70 after just 3 months. The fine print even says the price “may be adjusted in the future after notice,” which isn’t very reassuring. One recent review even mentioned their rent increased after just one month. If you’re planning to rent long-term, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I found another storage company about 12 minutes away that offers climate-controlled units, the first month free, and rate increases that don’t happen until 9–12 months in.
