  This place is not safe to keep things you care about. Had my unit broken in to within a week of moving in. The facility is refusing to take responsibility for someone else climbing into my unit through a space that was unsecured due to their construction, unscrewing the $20 lock they force you to purchase, and pushing it out of the lock hole. This place should NOT be renting units to people until they secure it. One door code and a dinky lock is not enough. Really disappointed with their response to this crime as well — it’s been over a week since the crime and nothing has changed there. Not even a security guard until they improve their systems.

  Warning!! Alert!! Be aware this place doesn’t have proper security. Our unit got broken into on 2/11. They climbed into our unit from top that is not fully secure and unscrewed the lock from the inside. This space requires you to use their lock and they take no responsibility for safety. They require you to buy their insurance which is expensive. I understand why they require it now, because it’s an unsafe place. I would encourage you to use Big Tex or other storage. We were at Big Tex which was very secure and allowed you to use your own lock. Extra was closer and look nice - what a mistake we made. Don’t use this place!!!

  Their first week open we rented my mom a storage unit here. Ms. Tammy and the gentleman working here were so kind to us and very helpful answering any questions we had. I recently came back to rent my own space here and Ms. Tammy was helpful once again! & so was Ms. Renee, she was able to answer the questions I had over the phone and in person. The spaces are clean and the ac works really good in here. I also love that there is a restroom for the customers! I definitely recommend this location for your storage needs.

  Sadly but I just move in Saturday and someone already broke into the storage. I’ve been calling the manager since 7:30 pm Tuesday evening and the manager hasn’t called me back and it’s 9:15 pm. I’m on hold with the police sitting outside this building just to make sure you can’t walk in after hours. Note to anyone don’t rent a space from here!!!!!

  So many times I had questions or concerns regarding all of my spaces, and every time, I was greeted with a friendly smile, the knowledge to find a solution, and the reassurance and proof everything was addressed. Renee, one of the managers, she is one of the good ones and she makes sure the storage facility is clean, security is great and safe, account is in good standing, and all my questions are answered. The reason most of us even rent from Extra Space Storage is because of Renee’s hard work and commitment for the clients. Probably would have moved by now to another facility if she wouldn’t be there. 10/10.
