    Today was my first treatment less than 24 hours after I signed up with Aptive last evening when I spoke to Colby about the pest services that I desired for my home and yard. Communications afforded by Aptive through both Colby and this morning by John were thorough and clear. Proactive efforts were made by Aptive and its representatives to ensure there was a complete meeting of our minds with no confusion. John the home service tech providing these services texted me some 30 minutes before his arrival, which was at precisely the time agreed. John demonstrated deliberate care to protect my home, thorough both in communicating with me, explaining what my contract includes and being sure to more than deliver on the contracted for services. He wore booties and carefully applied the pesticide being sure to explain cautions I should exercise so as not to expose pets or myself or my guests. I am very pleased with my decision last evening to hire Aptive for services providing professional protection from pests, at very competitive rates, both ensuring to thoroughly explain and answer all my questions. My agreement with Aptive has competitive pricing, which is based on fair and reasonable terms and conditions. Candidly when I searched the internet I saw some negative posts about Aptive, but my actual experience has been exactly the opposite. It is easy for me to strongly recommend Aptive based on my actual experiences.

    I upgraded my service plan to include mice baitboxes for my yard. We have new homes being built all around us and we want to prevent field mice. The tech came for my service and did not have them on his truck. Even though I spoke with a representative and asked to put it in the notesand was assured that it would be taken care of.

    If you never need to speak to these people and all you want is for them to come out and do the treatment and collect their money then I guess they’re fine. But heaven help you if you need to get in touch With a human being. I am purposely leaving this negative review in the hopes that somebody will contact me. If I don’t find a way to speak with somebody in person on the phone today, they’re losing my business. Update. I finally figured out the magic words to get to a person when you call the number for the main office in Utah. I won’t comment on the strong sense that I got that this was a call center in India or somewhere outside of the country but we will just run with what happened on my phone call. When you get the virtual assistant on the line and she asks what they can do for you today don’t tell him anything else other than you need to speak to a representative or you need to speak to an agent. If you do that you’ll get somebody and they will very sweetly give you the service that you request, As they did for me. When you finish speaking with the person who helps you ask to speak to the supervisor but tell them you’re not angry and you like the service you received, but you want to give feedback regarding their ridiculous Webb presence where they want you to do everything virtually. They’ve had a lot of complaints and it’s good to add yours. I would switch this to four stars because they give good service. The people in the field are great. They just think they’re too good to talk to real people at the main office.

    Not doing business with them ever again. I've been using them for over 5 years and service was quite good and at a reasonable price. About a year ago, during one of their quarterly visits, their employee told me that I needed to renew the contract and that they were going to start coming on a monthly basis (and charged more for doing so). I specifically told him that I did not need them to come more often than quarterly so he told me he was going to put that note in their system. I made the mistake of not checking my credit card statement for their charges, and realized 10 months later that they've been charging me every month ( a total of $500 extra for that period!!). I called them to tell them about the issue and initially they told me I was going to get $300 refunded, which was not everything but showed good faith. Waited for a couple of months and never received the refund, so called them again and they told me that they were not going to refund me anything, that I could talk to a lawyer if I wanted to and that i was going to lose. Shame on them if they steal money from their loyal customers by tricking them into changing their plans and lying to them about it.

    The service technician did a fantastic job and was very attentive in what we described. The issues were resolved and I want to also add the I scheduled the re-create service by logging into my account and submitting the request online. I'm thankful I didn't have to call or even deal with a machine or person other than the tech. I also want to add that the tech reached out before arriving via text in order to allow me the opportunity to provide more details and they responded back to ensure that they understood my concerns and treated the exact areas of concern. They went above and beyond and were very punctual.
