    I ordered some items online and the courier delivered the wrong item to my home. He took it back to the car after realizing the mistake, but the order status appeared complete. I spent a lot of time online with the virtual and live chat trying to get my order because there's no phone number on the website. If I were rating the corporate online customer service, it would be zero stars, but a couple of phone calls to our local store and they had it fixed in no time. Everyone I spoke with in Granbury was helpful and responsive.

    I’m a Pro account holder who spends hundreds of thousands at Home Depot — and here’s exactly why. This weekend my mom went to Lowe’s. She was out of breath, realized at checkout that she didn’t have her wallet, and called me. I told her, “No problem — I have a Pro account. Go to the desk and they can call me for a phone sale.” But the employee at the counter offered no help at all. She then went to customer service, where she was told, “We don’t do phone sales over the weekend. We only do that when the Pro team is here.” Not one person tried to offer a solution. They simply shut the door in her face. She walked out and went to Home Depot — where they immediately helped her and completed the phone sale without hesitation. That’s why every bit of my business goes to Home Depot, and now my mom’s will too. Shame on you, Lowe’s.

    Clifferd at the service desk was personable, professional and very helpful after I placed an order that needed to come from another store as I needed the spray for a black widow in my attic. I wanted to take care of it today so he found a suitable substitute and canceled the previous order. Thanks Clifferd!
