Lowes was long, long overdue in Georgetown and we got a good one. Easy parking, genuinely helpful staff, good store layout. I rented a fiberglass insulation blower and being a new store they don’t have all their processes completely ironed out, but the staff worked through it and all in all it was a good experience. It is 1000% worth the extra 5 minutes to bypass that flaming orange dumpster fire competitor that’s had a monopoly on the market for so many years.

Did an online order and after two weeks of waiting for all the items to be ready at once (6 faucets)
I got an email that the order was ready just in time for my plumber to install it during his appointment with me.
I waited at the store for 45 minutes with a baby in the car while they looked for the items. Eventually said they only found 1 and lost the other 5. Said they needed to reorder and it’ll take 10 more days. Nope.
Ended up at home depot and get them the same day. Be aware!

There are only two checkout registers that are not self checkout. They are rarely staffed. And typically only half of the self checkout lanes are open so you will still wait in a long line. For this reason I still go to Home Depot everytime over Lowe’s unless I’m right next to the Lowe’s working. The simple fix is to open up every self checkout lane. And then there will be no lines. And guess what Lowe’s maybe you’ll have more business. You don’t make money unless people are passing through the registers. It’s that simple. It never ceases to amaze me that this simple concept is lost on so many retailers. Especially ones as big as Lowe’s.

We have used this store a few times and have been generally satisfied. However on our last visit on Dec 29 we went in to get draino and asked the first worker who just looked at us and said draining which makes no sense and did not help us. another worker passing by and said isle 40 . It was not there. Another worker guided us to isle 2 . It was not there either. We finally found it on isle one. Service was definitely sub par

We had a HORRIBLE experience. We bought a new washer & dryer. But when washer arrived the dryer was missing because salesman had miscoded it for pickup. We called and they delivered the dryer a few days later, but wouldn't install even though we paid for it. After unreturned phone calls we drove to store and waited to see the manager. She told us the installation contractor was busy and we must wait two more weeks. We paid for a plumber to install. Lowes failed at every stage, so we'll go to Home Depot in the future.
