- BPBrianna Pitchford6 days ago5.0I just wanted to give quick review after visiting the shop. First of all, they have everything you could need for pools and spas. The general manager (Ryan I believe) was beyond helpful and super sweet! He answered all of my questions (plus some he didn't even have to about a product my husband bought elsewhere) and we got to chat for a bit. He was a pleasure to get to know! There are several Leslie's on my way to work, but because of him, I will be stopping in Forney each time! ❤️ Edited to add: If Ryan is the same manager I spoke to, I have no idea why he has such bad reviews. He gave me complete opposite vibes and was quick to help me when I was clueless about where to even start. Also, people are way more quick to leave a bad review than a positive one. I'm sure he's helped several people that didn't take the time to leave a review. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I came into the store to have my new plaster water tested and he refused to help me with the chemicals needed to balance my water. I only gave this review 2 stars because the other in-store employee offered to help. Ryan is terrible!

Never any greeting or acknowledgment. If you’re helping someone and need to step out of the store a simple “I’ll be right back to assist you.” goes a long way!

My husband explained that our pool builder suggested them and this guy said, "You need to fire them then!" Joking, right? No. We haven't even asked for specifics and he isn't offering anything but that we need to make our builder teach us. We are there for future products and suggestions on best being offered at this store. I'm even looking around for chairs and lots of other accessories to outfit our new pool; however, he was so rude and short with my husband that my little boy picked up on it. We felt so uncomfortable and this saddens me. Unfortunately, I see coming to the reviews would have saved us a trip. Glad we didn't spend a dime before we found out.
