I encountered two unfortunate experiences here, location in Flower Mound.
Firstly, I required 30 feet of 6/3 copper wire but only had 22 feet available. The employee suggested that I visit other Lowe's locations. I searched, but they had nothing in stock. Consequently, we purchased the remaining 22 feet and inquired, "If it works, can I return it?" The employee assured me, "Definitely YES." I paid over $150 plus tax and confirmed with the cashier once more; she also affirmed, "YES with the receipt." I had to return it because the length was insufficient, and my electrician provided his own wire. However, they refused to process a return for a refund or store credit, citing policy. I questioned why the employees did not inform me that the item was non-returnable, yet they continued to respond with "YES." Initially. The manager, Scott offered to exchange for 30 feet, but once he learned that I no longer needed it and had completed the work, he withdrew the option for return and exchange. 😡 Additionally, he walked away, stating that it was resolved and disregarded all my explanations. What kind of customer service is this? This is entirely unacceptable!!!! Secondly, on the same day I purchased the wire, I ordered a washer for over $1,000 and requested that the driver contact me at least 45 minutes prior to delivery after 11 AM, as I would be busy in the morning. The driver arrived around 9:30 and called me just 10 minutes before his arrival. 😡 I was unable to be home for the delivery and installation, so I pleaded with him to wait for approximately 30 minutes or return later, as we urgently needed the washer. However, he left and rescheduled for another day. This time, the driver called me one hour before arrival, and I hurried home from work, which took me 45 minutes. I waited for over 1.5 hours, only for him to call and reschedule for a later time. 😡😡😡
I am extremely dissatisfied and disheartened by the customer service provided here, as they failed to take any action to address the problems they created. This is ridiculous .
Im done with Lowe's and this particular Flower Mound store location.
