  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Leslie's Pool Supplies. I purchased a Polaris Quattro P40 pressure-side pool cleaner about 1 year and 2 months ago, based specifically on the recommendation of the sales associate. At the time of purchase, I was clearly told the unit had a 2-year warranty and that if anything went wrong, I could simply bring it back in. Based on that information, I made a $1,300 investment. Over time, the cleaner stopped functioning properly—it would no longer climb the walls and stayed only in the deep end. I finally brought it into the store on a Sunday to have it checked. I was told there was no technician available, but to leave it there and I would receive a call. The employee looked up my purchase and again stated I was covered under a 2-year warranty and that any repair would be at no charge. Two days later, I received a call stating the repair would cost $500, that the warranty was only 1 year, and that it “wasn’t worth fixing” and I should just buy a new one. Being told one thing at the time of sale—and again at drop-off—only to be told something completely different after the fact is unacceptable. I don’t appreciate being misled just to make a sale, especially on a high-dollar item. This experience has completely lost my trust, and this will be the last purchase I make from Leslie’s. After leaving my review, the District Manager contacted me directly and looked into the situation. He confirmed that the cleaner does in fact have a 2-year warranty and that the associate had been mistaken. They honored the warranty, repaired the unit, and I was able to pick it up today at no charge. I appreciate the District Manager taking the time to address the situation and make it right. While the initial miscommunication was frustrating, I’m thankful that Leslie’s ultimately stood behind the product and resolved the issue.

  Tim the Manager is extremely knowledgeable and got me dialed on the chemicals. I was going to a local place here in Rockport but, they are not as knowledgeable or competitively priced. I will drive a little further for the professional service.

  The staff here is awesome! I used a Clorox test strip and app to determine what my pool needs….it was WAY off. Thankfully I didn’t purchase the items it suggested. I was told to bring in a sample of my water for free testing, and given a treatment plan for my pool that cost 4 times less than what the Clorox app said I needed. And the gentleman was so kind to help me carry the heavy stuff to my car. Thank you ton!
