  I’ve been debating whether to post this, but it has been almost two weeks and I have not heard back regarding my claim. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a newly built home, and we were so excited. When we visited this location, the staff and sales representative were amazing, and we truly appreciated the great service we received during the purchase process. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was not as smooth as we had hoped. The delivery driver was careless while unloading the furniture and ended up scratching our floors in two separate areas. These were not small scratches — they are large and very noticeable. When we pointed it out, he acted as if it was not a big deal and tried to brush it off, which was very upsetting. This is our first home, and as a new build, we worked incredibly hard for it. Seeing the floors damaged due to carelessness was disappointing. At one point, we were even made to feel as though we were overreacting, but the damage is clearly visible. I called to file a claim, and the customer service representative I spoke with was very kind and helpful. However, I have not received any follow-up communication since then. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could please reach out to me regarding the status of this claim. Thank you.

  I was so impressed about this furniture store! We have never been and were shopping for guest room furniture. Great selection of furniture and mattresses, very functional, and GREAT value. What really impressed me were the people and automated process for scheduling delivery. In the store, there was no selling pressure. Alex and others were friendly, approachable, and fully available to answer questions and help as requested. Everything about the purchase and delivery was transparent, and the automated notifications for scheduling the delivery and the related notices when they were on their way were great. Installation was quick and efficient with care given to the furniture and our home. I would definitely buy from AFW again and would recommend you check them out for your furniture needs.

  Our first sales person “Justin” was absolutely horrible. He had told me he couldn’t help us get anything delivered to a new address and I was about to walk out entirely until I spoke with a couple other sales people. Louis and Cris were very helpful. Cris finalized my sale, but she had actually taken the time to de-escalate the situation and really take the time to figure things out. She’s was the reason we still made an order. Point blank.

  Yeah, they get over here with my new mattress. Then you go ahead and they pull this. Oh, we can't take the old one out, 'cause there's a little stain on the side there was no urine stains on it or anything like that, you can tell somebody spilled a drink and it went on the side of the mattress a little bit. And a little bit on the box spring, no big deal, they couldn't put it right in the plastic that the new bed came out, but they refused to take it so I'm stuck with a mattress and the box spraying, and they also said they would take the top or they didn't take that either So my experience sucked

  If you’re planning to shop at American Furniture Warehouse, I highly recommend asking for Josh. He was incredibly pleasant, professional, and attentive, keeping in touch with us throughout the entire process, including delivery. From the very beginning, Josh listened carefully to what we were looking for. Even when we weren’t exactly sure, he was able to make thoughtful recommendations that perfectly fit what we had in mind. The entire experience was excellent. Prices were really good, the staff was friendly, and the store atmosphere was welcoming. Customer service was very helpful in explaining the delivery process, and the delivery team was on time, pleasant, and extremely careful bringing our furniture into our home. We purchased complete living room, bedroom, and kitchen sets, and we were very pleased with the quality of everything. Josh made the process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. His guidance and attention to detail really stood out, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about helping customers find exactly what they need. We will absolutely return and recommend American Furniture Warehouse to anyone looking for great furniture and excellent service.
