We built our pool about 14 years ago and have been very pleased. We have just re-plastered the pool (an expected event) as the original plaster lasted a bit longer than I expected. The work crew for this pool and patio update was handled by Mr Gabriel Urbe and his son, as well as a few other specialists, such as the men who did the actual re-plaster and the crew from KoolCote. Gabriel gave us excellent service, keeping us informed as the project progressed. The excellent communication and attention to detail are greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend them for any of your pool needs.

We had a fantastic experience working with Texas Pools and Patios. From start to finish, they were honest, transparent, and professional. JC managed our build and was incredibly responsive and on top of every detail, checking in regularly to make sure things were running smoothly. Bailey handled the design work and brought our vision to life perfectly, while also being flexible and reasonable when we wanted to make small changes. The project stayed on budget, moved along right on schedule, and communication was excellent the entire way through. We couldn’t be happier with the end result or with the integrity and care the team showed throughout the process. Highly recommend!

There was a leak in the lower union of my UV sanitizer according to the home inspector who was hired by the realtor representing the prospective buyer of my house in Leander. I hired Texas Pools & Patios in Cedar Park to fix the leak because that was the company that installed my pool in 2022. David, the technician, inspected my sanitizer on September 22nd, 2025, and told the warranty service supervisor, Brandy, that there was a crack in the Paramount UV sanitizer housing. The inspector wrote in the report that there was a leak in the lower union, not, in the housing. I looked at the housing but didn't see a crack or leak coming from the housing. I hired a Riverway Pool Services to get another pair of eyes to find the source of the leak. Russell, the owner, said that there was a leak in the lower union just as the home inspector claimed. I thought the o-ring in the union needed to be replaced. That was a problem according to Russell, and he replaced the lower union. Just to be safe, he replaced the inflow upper union as well. If one gasket or o-ring goes bad, then the other might go bad as well and soon. I talked on the phone with Brandy from Texas Pools & Patios, and she said that David told her on September 22nd that there was a crack in the UV sanitizer housing. She said that to replace the housing would cost $1,881, and a cheaper option would be to remove the sanitizer and replumb the PVC pipes for $350. Russell charged me $137 which included tax for the parts to keep the uncracked sanitizer and to fix the leak. Brandy said that David, her co-worker, told her that the housing had a crack and the leak was coming from it. When I talked with her after Russell fixed the leak, she said that David, the technician, told her that he thought that the PVC pipe connected to the sanitizer was a part of the housing not a part that was connected to it during the installation of the sanitizer. He told her on October 7th that he knew the leak came from the lower union, not from the housing, which contradicted what he told her on September 22nd. Brandy admitted to me that David told her one thing initially and then changed his story two weeks later after Riverway Pool Services identified and fixed the problem just as the home inspector stated in his report. David, the technician, lied to Brandy to steal money from me. He also could have lied about the ballast needing to be replaced in the same UV sanitizer when he replaced the two UV lamps, which had gone out earlier in June or July of this year. He charged me two service calls instead of one. David, the technician, tried to steal money from me by lying to Brandy, the service manager, about the UV sanitizer housing needed to be replaced because of a false crack. He probably stole money from me when he said that ballast needed to be replaced when he replaced the UV lamps. Riverway Pool Services offers honest services and at the lowest prices in town. Texas Pools & Patios overcharges and lies to prospective customers.

We’re overall very happy with our new pool and the entire installation experience. Steele, the design consultant, was great to work with. He patiently walked us through multiple design variations before we committed to the final plan. JC, the general contractor, provided excellent customer service. He was responsive, easy to reach whenever we had questions, and did a great job managing all the contractors involved. The project moved along at a steady pace, with no long delays between steps — something we really appreciated. Everyone we interacted with showed genuine care for the quality of their work, and it shows in the finished pool. Our only small critique would be the clean-up at the end. We felt a little more attention to the post-construction cleanup would have made the experience truly flawless. Overall, we’re thrilled with the result and would gladly recommend this team to anyone considering a pool installation.
