- TST SBSep 5, 20251.0I had high hopes for working with Big John's, especially given their strong reputation in the community. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. David came out over Memorial Day weekend to provide an estimate for a small job I needed done. After waiting a week or two with no quote, I called the office. The person I spoke with was helpful and quickly sent the quote after retaking my email. I reviewed it, approved it, and asked when they could start. Days passed with no response, so I followed up again. David eventually called back, explaining he'd been out of town. By then, it was mid-June. He mentioned there were a few jobs ahead of mine and promised to call with a start date. That call never came. Now, several holidays have passed, and we're nearing fall. I haven’t heard a word, and the work remains undone. I understand busy schedules, but a simple follow-up or honest update would’ve gone a long way. I had a larger project in mind after this one, but I’ve lost confidence. Big John's may do great work, but perhaps smaller residential jobs are no longer a priority. I’m disappointed to feel like my time—and trust—weren’t valued. One star feels generous, but it’s the lowest I’m allowed.

Unknowingly caught Big John himself and David on break. They struck up a good conversation and we parted as friends after about an hour. David drove me around on a cart and set me up with everything I needed and a little more. Can't wait to come back! This is my new favorite nursery and just down the road. Thanks Guys!
