Rates have steadily increased, and I'm now paying $250/month for the same unit listed for new renters for $59/month. They apparently inform you by postal mail if there is an increase, but they are counting on you not noticing. Having an established customer with an excellent payment history pay just a hair under 5 times what a new customer pays is ridiculous and insulting. They are counting on it being too painful for you to move your stuff and keep paying the gouged rate instead. Look, I get it, you need to offer deals to new customers to tempt them to join, but offering them $59 and making me pay $250 for the same unit is insane.
