    Was just in the store. A man was waiting by the ladders for assistance as the announcement kept going off overhead my entire 20 minute visit. At the checkout, I asked the kid, who's job I guess is standing there giving dumb looks, if the customers were now supposed to help other customers in addition to doing their own checkouts. What a shitty company this has become.

    Lowe’s is mine and my husbands favorite place to shop for our home improvement needs! We went in yesterday to exchange some cameras we bought earlier that day for a different brand and the customer service associate remembered us from always shopping there. After that we headed towards the camera section where we were greeted by August and her energy was it! She was so sweet and helpful. Bryan Lowe’s is the place to go!

    I’ve never written a review before, but this experience absolutely warrants one. If I could give zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. We purchased a water heater that did not work. We attempted to return it the same day with the receipt and original box, only to be told it was non-returnable due to being a “biohazard.” This policy was stated nowhere not on the box, the website, or the receipt. We were then told to contact the manufacturer. The following day, I called Lowe’s customer service and was informed that we should not have been turned away and should have been provided with a denial return slip. Based on that guidance, we returned to the store hoping to resolve the issue. Instead, we were once again told to call the manufacturer and obtain an RA number, otherwise the item could not be returned. We spent three hours on hold before reaching the manufacturer, only to be told that an RA number could not be issued because Lowe’s would need to install the unit themselves to document the issue with photos and videos. We immediately relayed this information to store employees (we never even left the store), and suddenly the return was processed without issue. In total, we were stuck in the store for four hours. During that time, no one proactively helped us, no one attempted to resolve the issue, and we were repeatedly told “no” without clear or consistent information. The lack of communication, accountability, and poor customer service was incredibly frustrating. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Home Depot was far more helpful and professional.
