Terrible experience between Michele the head cashier pretending to be a manager during a return to the actual manager Lorrie (sp) not wanting to speak with us and saying getting a store credit for a product we bought at Lowe’s was hit or miss but not wanting to even try made no sense. The product is still brand new & is sold under the Lowe’s brand. Shout out to Quinton for being understanding and trying to help. Been team blue for a while but team orange might be a better fit if this is how Lowe’s is these days.

I'd love to say more but Im off to my local Lowe's to buy wood for my new industrial sized flying saucer. I'll go back in time and edit this review to tell you that it's really just about your average Lowe's experience. No complaints. PS if that all didn't make sense, that's the point.

Huge shout out and major THANK YOU to Angelo F. Today I purchased a new ceiling fan and a chandelier from this Lowe’s location. When I loaded my car I accidentally left my wallet in the cart. I honestly had no clue until I received a call a few hours later from Angelo saying he had found my wallet and it was being held for me in the safe until I could come get it. Now, a lot of humans would’ve taken the opportunity to help their selves to some or all of the hundreds of dollars in cash I had, but not him! He searched my wallet for any info to contact me and left anything of value untouched. I really wanted to reward him but the employee I spoke to said that it’s against Lowe’s policy. Good people, who do good things for other people, strangers especially, should be rewarded! So I hope that at the very least Angelo gets some recognition from Lowe’s for being an amazing employee and human! I can’t thank you enough Angelo! 🙌❤️ You deserve a raise!

Long story short, I will never go to Lowe's to do a job ever again after this terrible Tile experience. Either Lowe's or its contractors have bad communications between one another, and regardless of who's fault it is, it makes for a terrible customer experience. They actually never finished the job. This is a long story so lets start with the job, we wanted to tile our bathroom that is about 70 square feet. A job we had been quoted about $3,500 with materiel and labor. Our first trip to Lowes to set the job up was great, the person we spoke to helped us pick the tile we wanted and set the job up correctly. After this point, everything else went down hill. So, we paid for all the material and for it to be delivered, keep in mind we didn't shop around for the material, we just picked the tiles. All the other material was picked out by Lowe's employees. The day of the job came. The contractors showed up to our house and let us know we got the wrong grout, we told them that we didn't pick the grout, that Lowes just set aside what we needed. The contractor blamed Lowes and said we need a different one, so we called and bought the recommended grout, so that's 2 sets of grout we had to buy and had to return the other. The ones we had to pay to get delivered, we had to return ourselves. The contracts then started to tear-up the old tile, into their demo work they found that our floor had significant water damage. They came to us and told us the problem. when I said "show me the problem" they showed us pretty obvious water damage on our subfloor. The contracts said we had to replace the subfloor before they could do the job. This was fine! The damage was obvious and we said ok, our bathroom was in shambles but that was understandable. For now, keep in mind that we had already paid for the job, more material than we needed and it was all just sitting in our garage. The contracts also tore up the entire floor of our bathroom and took out the toilet, and we even asked, what was the problem and they just said, the water damage was the problem. Ok, no problem. We quickly began to look for someone to replace our subfloor and shower, this took longer than expected. We went through like 5 different people, trying to find someone who could do the subfloor and shower, and all 5 said the majority of the subfloor looked great except for the part around the shower. The whole process of picking someone to do the job and getting the job done took about a month. During the month Lowe's called us no less than 4 times asking if we were ready for the tile work, them calling frequently isn't a problem, I like that they kept up with us, but keep in mind that at least 4 different people called us from Lowe's asking about the job. Ok, finally the subfloor was clear and clean for tile to be set down. So we called up Lowe's and set up a date for the tile again. The same contractors came back, and again, they said we had wrong material. I asked, how is this the first time I'm hearing about the material being wrong? Again?! The contractors claimed that they told Lowe's that we had the wrong material and that it was supposedly added to our work order, but no one from Lowe's ever told us about having to pick up new materials and again, Lowe's called us at least 4 different times! We also asked why they didn't even mention it to us before they left, last time they were here. They asked me to return the old material and buy new ones, I said no. The material they need was large and I don't own a truck, we paid for the material to be delivered in the first place. After talking to Lowe's and the contractors about it, they finally decided deliver the new material later that day. The contractors finally went into the bathroom and before even working they said the Subfloor was still bad. I asked how? We replaced everything they asked us to replace. I can't finish writing this story so look for a part 2.
