  🌟 Honest review – Horrible return experience at the 183 location I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Hobby Lobby, located off 183 (in the former grocery store location). I came in with several items to return, each with its own receipt from a large purchase. What should’ve been a straightforward process turned into a disorganized, frustrating, and over-an-hour-long ordeal. The cashier—an older woman whose name I sadly can’t recall—insisted on doing the return her way, even after I politely asked her to process one receipt at a time to avoid confusion. She refused, saying she knew her system. Unsurprisingly, she got completely confused and made a mess of things, marking several receipts without completing a single return. Instead of asking for help right away, she wasted more time until Deanna came over and began training her in front of me—in the middle of this mess! I asked Deanna to please just take over and train later, since I had already been waiting more than 30 minutes. Then the register froze. Of course. Eventually, I was moved to a different register, where Deanna and another team member (possibly named Alex) finally started processing the returns one by one—just as I had originally suggested. Meanwhile, the original cashier went to lunch. To top it all off, Manager Robert Padilla walked past me multiple times during all of this. It wasn’t until the final return—over an hour into this nightmare—that he finally asked if there was a problem. I told him I’d been standing there the whole time trying to get this resolved, and mentioned I had seen him pass by several times without realizing he was the manager. I asked why he hadn’t approached sooner to help. His only response was, “Well, I’m here now, how can I help?”—as if that erased the past hour of chaos and inconvenience. Absolutely unacceptable. No accountability. No urgency. No apology. I left angry, drained, and still unsure if I even received the correct refund. I will never return to this location again. Hobby Lobby needs to seriously retrain their staff—and rethink who they place in management.
