  Working with Jakai was great! He solved some billing problems that I had been having over the past few months in minutes... I had been trying to get ahold of ANYONE within the company with no success for a while. Extra Space was about to lose a customer, but now I plan on staying longer. Thanks again.

  I HAD to give this business one star in order to POST it, but I wouldn't give it even half a star! My daughter has rented a unit here for 2 years as she was stationed overseas. In the beginning, I thought a transient had urinated somewhere in the hallway, as there was a smell occasionally. Now the stench is AWFUL as it is caused by RATS! Yes, RATS! I'm guessing this was an issue 2 years ago, as an infestation doesn't just happen over night! My daughter is overseas, in the military, and her rent also kept going up until I discovered what was happening and called the then manager; although I'm not certain that she is receiving a military rate. Yet, if I had not been added to her information, the rat problem would have gone on and on, as I only was blessed with the truth recently! I was near tears when being confronted with this truth! It is appalling to me that prior staff could allow this to continue with NO EFFORTS or honesty on behalf of the tenants! I pray that my daughter's belongings are, and will be ok, while we work on moving her things out of this unit to another property! Which, she will be responsible for! Also, if anyone doesn't have insurance and is renting a unit here.....PLEASE GET THE INSURANCE and pay attention to any smells! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

  had a very disappointing and stressful experience with this storage company. I rented a storage unit through customer service, paid in full, and was given a unit number. Everything was confirmed and seemed fine. Based on that confirmation, I hired a moving company and paid $500 to move my belongings into the storage unit. When the moving team arrived, the office staff and the manager were present. They gave the movers the access code, opened the door, showed them the correct storage unit, and allowed the movers to unload all my belongings into that unit. The next day, I received a call from the manager telling me that the unit I was given is under construction and that they are not going to give it to me. She told me they do not have another unit available of the same size and gave me 24 hours to remove all my belongings. I explained that I already paid $500 to move my items in and that I would now have to pay another $500 to move them out because of their mistake, not mine. Instead of offering any solution or taking responsibility, the manager told me that I could “go to a lawyer” and that lawyers can take the company to court for extra storage. I was shocked by this response. The manager was very rude, unhelpful, and showed no concern for the situation they created. I was given no solution, no alternative unit, and no assistance, even though their staff approved and supervised the move. Because of this, I am now forced to involve my lawyer since the company failed to resolve an issue that was completely their fault. This is unacceptable customer service, poor management, and extremely unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

  If you think storage units are expensive, wait until you experience the real cost: an urgent move-out, stolen items, unresponsive staff, police reports, insurance claims, and the loss of peace that comes from feeling violated and unsafe on the property. Before Thanksgiving, I discovered that my storage unit had been accessed without any visible damage to the lock. Every box and bag inside had been opened or cut into, and items were missing. The level of detail involved in going through everything would have required a significant amount of uninterrupted time. There was also a serious security concern involving a neighboring unit. A panel had been pulled away, creating a possible internal access point. I was told that an assistant manager placed a different lock on that unit without formally reporting the damage. Throughout this process, I received conflicting and changing information about who works at the facility, who is responsible for reporting issues, and how security concerns are handled. I prepaid six months of rent and did receive refunds for the unused months, which was expected and appreciated. However, the manager also told me directly that my entire stay would be refunded due to what occurred. That did not happen. Instead, only a $100 credit was issued. I never received any direct outreach or follow-up from the owner. There was little response or concern until I posted public reviews. After that, I received a generic, copy-and-paste response directing me to call a phone number. There was no meaningful communication, explanation, or effort to address what happened. There is no active security on the property. I personally observed individuals on-site who did not appear to be renters and appeared to be settling in for the night. There is no patrol or overnight monitoring. After the incident, I was left to handle police reports, insurance claims that often do not cover storage theft, and the stress and expense of an immediate move-out, including the cost of a rushed U-Haul, all while feeling unsafe on the property. What I ultimately learned is that when something goes wrong here, renters are largely on their own. Based on my experience, the hassle, stress, financial loss (storage fees, stolen property, and emergency move-out costs), and loss of peace of mind far outweigh any convenience this location offers. I cannot recommend storing anything valuable or sentimental at this facility.
