- CACeren AtılganFeb 4, 20261.0Extra Space Storage has been a very disappointing experience, and I do not recommend this facility. I signed a 6-month agreement and paid 4 months upfront, yet after the 4th month my rent was doubled. Increasing the price during an active, prepaid contract is completely unfair. What makes it worse is that the same units are still advertised online at much lower prices. When I said I wanted to move out, they were only willing to help for one additional month, then stopped offering any support. I was also told that the same person cannot rent again within 4 months, which feels like an unfair policy that limits customer choice. Security is also a concern. One evening, a car was parked directly in front of my unit, blocking access for a long time. When I finally had to get out of my car, the situation felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Since they already charged me for this month, I am forced to stay one more month, but once it ends, I will move out immediately and will not do business with Extra Space Storage again. I do not recommend this company.
