  The warranty is not nearly as good as they make it sound when they are trying to sell you furniture. Started having issues with our recliner squeaking very loudly (which means we can’t rock our baby to sleep in it) about 6 months into owning it. We tried to contact customer support and they had us going in circles telling us we needed to contact a different person each time. More than a year later and finally someone tells us that they won’t fix it. Feels just as cheap as the last chair we had from wayfair but twice as expensive.

  Service is non existent. We have a brand new table with stripped screw in chair and can't get it fixed after repeated attempts. We're even purchased warranty.

  Casey was so very helpful in our quest to find the perfect loveseat recliner that met all of our needs. He was especially helpful in explaining all the details and options available with our purchase. He was very friendly and professional as well!

  My recent experience at the Allen La-Z-Boy was exceptional from start to finish. I first met with Tyler to discuss replacing a couch and two recliners. I knew the specific items I wanted but needed to get updated information on color choices and various add-ons. Tyler was so helpful and patient! He is professional, friendly with excellent product knowledge. This saved me a lot of time in the middle of an home interior update. Moving into 2026 I didn’t expect the furniture to arrive so soon, but it did in pristine condition. The delivery men, Jose and his assistant, were very efficient and extra careful in moving the old furniture to the garage and moving in the new furniture. The dispatch software used is excellent. You know where they are every moment of your delivery day, and get a telephone call when you are the next stop. I’ve been a La-Z-Boy customer for over 40 years. I still have my first recliner from 38 years ago. The Allen store under Tyler’s leadership, back-office support and delivery was outstanding. I hope management reads this and recognizes those who are doing great work for the company every day.

  I purchased a recliner sofa the end of 2023 from this store. Sales person was awesome. However she is no longer there. Love the sofa. I purchased the 5 year extended warranty for $575. Something I usually don’t do. I unexpectedly moved out of TX in 2024. One side of the recliner stopped working around this Christmas. Called the 800 number on warranty card. My current zip code, my old zip code in TX nor the store where purchased in TX zip code was honored. I called our local La-z-boy stores. There are 3 in my area. They told me that it shouldn’t be an issue. Call the store in TX and they usually transfer the warranty. I placed a call to TX, spoke with Tyler the store manager and was referred to Josh. His specialty is taking care of the warranty calls. Josh is extremely degrading and arrogant. I was told that I was wrong about the zip codes not being honored. My extended warranty was only good in certain cities in TX. They would NOT transfer the warranty. He informed me that they don’t EXPECT you to move. I might be entitled to a partial refund. I was NEVER informed at the time of purchase that the warranty was only valid in TX. I had a CERTIFIED repair person from a local La-z-boy store in AL to come and repair my sofa. I had to pay $150 service call. After waiting several days I called Josh back to check again on a transfer of warranty because I was told by the repair person that the warranties are usually transferred. Josh said he couldn’t transfer the warranty. I informed him he didn’t want to. He said they were a franchise. All of the stores in my area AL and FL are also franchises. They have transferred their warranties to as far as Nevada. He had to figure out how much refund to give me. I will be getting $345 back. I would NOT recommend purchasing the extended warranty from this store unless you are 100% sure you will not be moving. Now by them refusing to transfer my extended warranty I am out of the warranty. I don’t have the option of purchasing one where I live now because you must purchase at the time you purchase the furniture.
