  RENT WILL GO UP $40+ EVERY 3-4 months (they may or may not tell you.) My office space was going to increase about $1,000 and after refusing to do pay that I just went back to a regular unit that was $57 and went to $95.95 after 3 months. This facility, when owned by Watson and Taylor, was phenomenal! Now of course a corporation has bought them out and after 3 years I will no longer be a client due to frivolous price increases and not a single improvement to the property or units. It is so unfortunate to have experienced the random price jumping when spaces aren’t magically getting bigger is absurd and greedy. Thank you to Melissa and Watson and Taylor for an amazing experience and consistent professionalism. Extra Space should do better to try and retain long term existing customers, however with a company so vast, it’s obvious they don’t uphold that concept. Keep this in mind when choosing a place to store your valuables.

  The people working there were friendly and helpful. They worked hard to show us the spaces that might work for us. My experience could not have been any better. They were the best.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars! I can’t say enough great things about this Extra Space Storage location in Addison. From day one, the property has been clean, well-maintained, and easy to access—but what truly sets this location apart is the team. Rose deserves special recognition. She has been immensely helpful, patient, and genuinely kind. She takes the time to answer every question, provides options with clarity, and makes everything feel simple and stress-free. You can tell she truly cares about customers and takes pride in what she does—she’s the kind of person who turns a routine storage visit into a great experience. And I also want to shout out Melissa, the longtime property manager here, who clearly leads with intention. She has consistently built strong teams, and it shows—everyone is professional, supportive, and customer-focused. The culture here feels positive, and that’s a direct reflection of leadership. If you’re looking for storage in Addison, I highly recommend this Extra Space location—especially if you get the chance to work with Rose. She’s outstanding!

  My experience with other storage units have been hit and miss over the last few years but this facility has been a breeze. The service received , specifically from Rosemarie , has been exceptional and easy. Any questions or concerns were answered with confidence and reassurance by her. I truly appreciate all the help she provided to me and will recommend this facility to others because of her.
