    When we went to buy a smoker , not knowing much about them we stood around for ten minutes looking for help. I finally went to the return desk and asked for help. An associate by the name of George came and helped us. When we finally made our decision to purchase one he said that he would speak with the manager to see if he could get us free delivery. As we approached the register George was speaking to the manager who said the best he could do was $20 delivery. I explained that we were really good customers and had bought high ticket items there and we had never been charged for a delivery. He gave us a song and dance story about third party box trucks and he was firm on the delivery fee. Well, he walked away and we should have also walked away and gone to Home Depot, but I felt I didn't want to treat George that way. Another associate Randall was there helping George and after they entered my Veterans code, the AI was smarter than the manager. It recognized us as loyal customer with alot of purchases and charged us "0" for delivery. Randal and George were surprised after having witnessed the manager play hardball with us about a delivery charge. It's upsetting that they have a manager in theTullahoma store who refuses to listen and understand that they don't hold the cards. Customers can take their loyalty elsewhere! Bad attitudes lose customers, especially in managers representing a store. Thanks George and Randall.

    My experience buying a tiller from Lowe's has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. This will be a long detailed review but hopefully will help someone else. I ordered a Toro tiller (163cc 21-in front tine) on the Lowe's website. It was supposed to be ready for pick-up on Thursday, but it wasn't. The CSRs tried to find another one in the store but none were found. We needed to know whether it was going to be fully assembled (preferably) and if we needed the truck. The guy I was working with said it will come fully assembled and you will need a truck. So we planned to go back the next day. But I got a notification that it was delayed. At this point I thought maybe it would be better to have it shipped to us instead. The app offered for me to change it to delivery and have it shipped for free, so why not? Well this is why not... It did NOT come assembled and wasn't easy to put together! It arrived in a box. We didn't even have all the tools we needed to assemble it. After much frustration it's put together. I hope we did it right. I will never buy another machine from Lowe's or anywhere else and have it shipped to my home. I initially requested pick-up method bc I could see it in person and ask any questions needed. This was such a debacle. Just to be clear -- the assembly was a free service. So it's not like I could request a refund for it.

    Typical Lowes Tullahoma. I had a special order screen, received 3 emails and 3 text messages that the order is ready for pickup. Go to pick it up, wait 30 minutes, ask what the hold up is, they can't find it. I'll be glad when Ace Hardware opens.
