    We had good help on finding a microwave to replace our over-the-range microwave. And were able to find it at a sale price in the store. However the installation is taking a week or more longer than expected. A total of almost three weeks.

    First let's get this out of the way and say that AI answering services are horrible and is a step down in customer service forever. I went through the loop two or three times It would say it was hooking me to someone and then put me right back at the beginning of the loop , I was just in. I'm 53 years old and I hate to see good customer service die. I eventually figured out if you just keep mashing zero right at the beginning you can get to the customer service desk. If you let it start talking too long it swaps you and the zero will not work any longer and that's where the loop begins. AI requires a lot of work to call somebody and give them your money. With that out of the way I purchased a washer and dryer online with Lowe's It was delivered on Sunday and today is Tuesday. The washer does not function properly at all. It does not put enough water in, only about an inch and a half for a large load. It also didn't spin out very well clothes were damper than they should be. Once I made it past AI, I was told Matthew in the appliance department would be handling the issue. When I spoke to Matthew he did an excellent job of caring and listening to me vent while keeping a positive attitude. Matthew went out of his way to make everything right and to keep me happy. He definitely cares about customer service . Hats off to Matthew for putting me in another washer dryer set and getting the shipping lined up. Last I would just like to say that I am very satisfied that Lowe's stood behind their products and are totally making it right. I am literally about to remodel the inside of my house new floors tile backsplashes countertops etc. I will definitely be heading to Lowe's for my materials. Thank you

    Needed a new dryer for the house on a Sunday night. Went in that afternoon. Erick was fast to greet me and explain to me what he knew before handing me off to Lou M, who was efficient, helpful and knowledgeable. In less than an hour I had my truck backed up to the doors and a couple of employees were there to help me load it. I was never rushed. Everything was explained to me. And I left with a new dryer that was on sale. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience from the staff. Thanks for helping me out in my emergency!

    I was shocked to see that there were almost no cashiers, there were lots of employees hanging out around the self-checkouts, they were just standing around talking to each other, I guess they were there to make sure that you, yourself scanned all of the items that you were buying from them. Although in my career I worked in the tech field, I feel it is not my job to scan and bag my items that I am purchasing from a business. When I go to a business to give them my hard earned monies I like a have a little customer service, and I finally found that at one entrance, I found one really nice young man that offer to checked me out so I had the option of not take away the job of a cashier. I miss not having friendly and helpful cashiers, which are often the face of most businesses, instead those jobs are being done away and one cashier's job is being replaced by several other employees standing around you making sure you scan everything and not miss anything. I wonder if their are any business that still offer customer service by providing the option of using a cashier. I also wonder why Liwes in not the biggest home improvement store.
