- AGArianna GoldenDec 19, 20251.0Locked out of my house, was connected with a service technician who told me he would be to my house in 45 minutes. Was closer to an hour and a half. When he showed up, he did not introduce himself, and was wearing sweats. No company logo on anything he was wearing. Unprofessional to say the least. Told me my only option was to drill the deadbolt and the door handle, as both were locked, and was not given another option. The technician then proceeded to completely ruin my door throughout the 1.5 hours (!!!) it took him to unlock the door and completely ruin the locks. I have a hard time believing he knew what he was doing, as he called a friend 3 times throughout the time he was at my house. He claimed he found a key jammed in the lock and “that is why this is so difficult” - a key has NEVER been used on that lock, as it is the back door of my house and I never enter through it. After some research I have found out that a deadbolt can be unlocked without the damage he caused to my door. 2 hours later I am left with a door that needs replacing, no locks, and a $1000 bill (attached). Not sure why I was charged for drilling (x2) plus a lockout, PLUS a key extraction for a key that doesn’t exist - I even told him I have never put a key close to that lock. This was completely ridiculous and I will never be using this service again. I would have been better off (and $1000 richer) going to Lowe’s and buying a lock pick kit myself.
