Edit: I have unfortunately had to drop my rating to a two star as when you rent a unit here you pay a deposit for a key ($40) I followed all posted instructions and returned the key and have yet to receive my deposit refund, just plain disappointed.
I recommend the owner of this business invest in a keyless gate system in which he gives each tenant a code instead of a key. I unfortunately forgot my key ONE time in 4 months but it had been during a week where many others had forgotten their keys as well. I was sadly lumped in with everyone else and told by the owner he was too busy to come open the gate, he had an appointment and that I and everyone else who had forgotten their keys, were seriously inconveniencing him. Humans aren’t perfect and we do forget on occasion, we are not God. Other than being told I was burdensome, it wasn’t a bad little place to rent and it was available pretty short notice, it would have been a 5 star rating if there were better measures in place for folks that traveled an hour and a half to clear out their unit only to be told “I’m busy” when they’re unable to get inside.

I was very offended by the disrespectful way I was talked to. I was only renting for a partial month due to closing on a new house. I came to empty the room out on the 6th of the month, I know late but was prepared to pay the $10 fee. But when I called to have the security lock removed he was not respectful at all. I asked when he could come remove it, his response was a very condescending "I'm at your beacon call". He arrived and I had to sign the release and return the key, he had the wrong name and unit on the sheet, he said, 'oh that is another habitual offender.
How can I be habitual if I was only there three weeks? Then he said, 'I have to get my money, how else do I get it?' I replied because I have integrity. He just scoffed at me.
I am a retired Marine and defense contractor, with over 37 years of service, I do not appreciate being treated as if I was stealing.
