  Bought a pressure washer on 10/16/25 and they offered me a protection plan so they say if anything happens to it they could take care of it instore, I used it five times before winter and put it up for the next 3 months in the attic now 3/20/26 I tried to start it and pull string fall apart I took it to Lowe’s and they say I have to deal with the 1-800 manufacturer for the first 5 years before their $130 extra protection plans kicks in that’s no how the cashiers advertise it. now I have to drive an hour to drop the equipment off for repair and hope I get it back before summer is over. I get to the address they gave me and is northern tool in Murfreesboro talked to their mechanic Escher and he said they are not taking equipment from Lowe’s at this moment and if Lowe’s sales the equipment they should have mechanics that can work on it, and he suggested I should be buying expensive equipment from them where they do honor protection plans and warranties. After expending my whole day dealing with them, and calling several small engine shops all over Tennessee in a 80 mile radius and getting the same answer they finally refunded me the pressure washer amount but keeped the $130 of the protection plan, they supposedly used the protection plan to be able to refund me the money but I thought they could not used it until factory warranty expired like they have previously told me at least ten times before that same day.

  My order been sitting there since 3/30. Called today 3/31 when it supposed to be ready for pickup and still not ready and was told they don't know when. Has to be the worst Lowes around. Btw... Never had this issue with Homedepot!

  This would be a good spot for a Home Depot because the Shelbyville store is a disgrace. Unfortunately I witnessed a young woman buying a dryer there and the employees put the dryer in the truck on its backside which is a huge mistake because of the drum. The young lady who was alone asked the employees to sit it up and help her strap it down to which they replied and I quote “ We can’t do that it’s a liability “. Also during the purchase of the dryer the lady was told she couldn’t use her military discount on appliances. So after witnessing this happening to the young lady I can say that I will no longer be shopping or purchasing anything from Lowes. If Lowes can’t honor a veterans service and give them a while 10 percent off and provide a hell of a lot better customer service to customers then none of my money or my family’s money will be spent there. I hope others will see this and also boycott Lowe’s. My business will go to Shelbyville Lumber or the closest Home Depot. Completely unacceptable Lowes of Shelbyville.
