    If I could give this Lowes store zero stars I would. I live in Georgia but have 2nd home in middle TN. I ordered a new $4000 Zero Turn mower. I was told it would be delivered to my home in middle TN on a Friday. I drive four hours the day before to be there for the delivery. On the way there I get a call from Lowe’s stating “their delivery truck broke down” and they did not know when the mower would be delivered, but should be in two days. Two days later I was informed the truck was still broke down. I was told it would be delivered on Thursday, a week later from original date. I’m still 4 hours from my primary home. Frustrated, I agreed to the date. I was told it would be delivered between 8:00am and 8:00pm. At 3:30pm I received a call from a delivery driver saying that they could not fit the mower on the truck that morning and it would be the next day sometime before 8:00pm. This was totally unacceptable as I had to get back to my primary home in TN. I called the Lowes store and spoke with a man in receiving. He indicated he would get a manager to call me. I waited until late the next day, and still no call. I called the store again and demanded to speak to the manager. I was told the manager was not there. I did receive a call back from a. Assistant store manager. She was polite, but basically had no solution. I cancelled my purchase. I called the main Customer Care with Lowe’s corporate. They listened and simply said they would note the issue. They were not even going to ask my name or number, until I ask them if they were. I told them that someone with authority had 2 days to call me or I would post a Google review. Obviously since you are reading this, I’ve never heard back from Lowe’s. I’ve been a loyal Lowe’s customer with a Lowe’s charge card. I built a house several years ago and all material was purchased from Lowe’s. They have no concern for their customers. A company as big as Lowe’s could have done the right thing and found a way to get the mower to me. They chose not to. Lowes is heading in the wrong direction. A review of other posted Google reviews proves this.

    Worst customer service I’ve ever received at a Lowe’s. I asked several different staff members where I can find the railroad ties, only to be told to go look elsewhere and ask someone else. I’m pretty positive each staff member has a handheld device, because I saw it, that has the information I asked about. Customer service is dying and it’s a shame!

    I made an online purchase for the amount of $1500. Lowe’s put a hold on my account for the amount of my purchase. Fine. Then they proceeded to continue putting holds on my account until I was pennyless. Everyone at customer service tells me this is just business as usual. So buyer beware - If you make an online purchase with your debit card, You will forfeit the entirety of your account to Lowe’s until they see fit to give it back In 3 to 14 business days. I have now had to cancel my card and get a new one Because they are continuing to try to take money from me. I have canceled my order, and will never do business with them again. My personal account and contractor account have already been deleted. The most horrible experience I’ve ever had with a retail outlet.
