  I was blessed to talk with Tara this afternoon, in regards to my Storage unit, in Nashville off Annex Ave. I needed some clerical changes done right away. She listened to my request and was prompt with her actions. 5/5 STARS!!!!

  Had a unit for a year, and the overall experience was good during the time. Didn’t really need anything, but when we would occasionally go - it was always clean and secure. They did increase my rate about 6 months in by not a small amount with little ‘notice’ besides a mailed card that looked like spam. At this point, we were a little stuck to stick it out. The biggest concern that I have is the move out process — they made it extremely confusing to get charged for what is actually used the last month. It says online and everywhere - we need to give 30 days notice to not be charged again. I go into my account & scheduled my move out day well in advance of this — see picture of email confirmation they got it. No where on this email does it say I have to ALSO call the office to have them do the prorate for my last month. I got my confirmation, and followed literally all the instructions. We move out a little earlier, but I was thinking we would be charged through the original submission date, which would be reasonable. I get a notification that our move out was processed, but nothing about the refund for the days not used past my SCHEDULED move out day (done 30+ days in advance). I call the office and they tell me they aren’t notified about the move out until the day of - that’s how their ‘system’ works. So I did the system as instructed, but I was also supposed to call to do the prorate in advance and there’s nothing they can do at this point as I was just charged 3 days ago the full month. See email screenshot - it does not say this additional step needed anywhere. It’s only about 20 days difference in cost but this is an issue - and corporate/ local leadership should be aligned with their system and processes. So while the unit was fine, this is bad business & an attempt to get double money from people.
