As I was shopping - I was approached by a man in a Lowe’s vest who was trying to sell me HVAC service. After listening for a short while I told him that I wasn’t interested at which point he persisted with trying to sell me. I told him I wasn’t interested in a hurry at which he made a snide comment. As I walked away he had further comment at which point I told him he was now becoming annoying. He said “well walk away then”. At which I said “I tried to once and now I would like to walk away without further comments from you.” He was more interested in making his pitch and a sale than honoring a customer’s wishes. I found my customer experience today to be very upsetting.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
