Went to this store on Sunday for parts to install dishwasher guys in plumbing department very rude no help at all went to check out lady was very rude act like she hated her job never be back to another Lowe’s Home Depot will get my business going forward

I would give the Lowe's East Town a zero! Juan the flooring manager and Chris the front end manager should not be in their positions. They do not know what proper customer service is!!!!! My son and I were in the store today, Saturday, November 1, 2025 to get vinyl flooring and supplies to fix my leaking toilet. There was a small young lady working the flooring area by herself and there was no way she could cut the vinyl flooring without help. My son helped her put it on the machine and helped cut it. In my past flooring experience the company would roll vinyl sheets on a card board cylinder. It was not, a 12 foot roll of vinyl was folded in half. Juan the flooring manager was found up front hanging out with Chris instead of helping his employee. When we went to check out I asked for a discount on the flooring since my son had to help the employee cut it. Chris the front end manager was notified at first he kept walking past us. Then when he finally came over and I told him the situation he informed me he couldn't give me a discount that I would have to speak to Juan. Juan never approached us, he just sent Chris back over to tell me we weren't getting a discount. I asked why wasn't Juan back there helping his employee instead of up front hanging with Chris. Chris being a smart butt asked if I needed a job that they were hiring. I told him no that I would not work for either one of them because they do not have good customer service or management experience. A good manager helps his employees or customers instead of ignoring them. Corporate please do not give some kind of excuse for the behavior of your employees!!!! Juan and Chris need to be reprimanded.

This place is a circus.
Ladders and buggies piled in the aisle to where you can’t get through with a cart.
We first needed rebar and all the labels were tore so we asked a lady which price was which and she called some dude over who ask “what kind do you have” while I’m currently holding a 1/2”. Ok whatever maybe dude don’t know. He then said “this is 20’” no it’s not. It’s 10’. He then said “oh yea our 20’ is outside” we go over to lumber to get 2x6, we see 2x6 but the tags say 4x4. And to be honest, after feeling like we fought for our lives through mazes of ladders and buggies and trying to understand this guy tell us what price the rebar was, we called the jeff city store and had them get what we need over the phone so we could just go pick it up from there.

This location we get a bad experience each time. Recently went to purchase some boards to build a small deck. From the information on the Lowe's website we had figured out everything we needed.... No help in the lumber department there! Ask an employee and they "don't know". One young man was very rude and had a walkie talkie on his side but would not call on anyone else to help us! I have a Lowe's card but was thinking about going to Home Depot because I have heard other people say that they are very helpful and happy to help.....but I decided to try a different Lowe's, on Mountain Grove off Chapman hwy and so happy that I did because everyone there was Super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! A tremendous difference at that location opposed to the Mall rd location!
It's not just the lumber department at this east location but also the garden department that's not helpful. Young employees walking around with there phones in their faces and playing around with each other.. one day there was a group of them and just joking around with each other and playing on the forklift! Almost ran us over with it! This store needs to have a meeting with their employees and Do better!
