Unfortunately I had a young girl who did not understand 1/4 from 3/4 of a yard. I had to help guide her measurements. Then, when she wrote up the ticket, she calculated them wrong (tremendously under-charged me). I brought this to a managers attention, who then recalculated it correctly and said he would talk to her. Really she wasn't ready to be at the cutting counter alone yet. My takeaways were to watch carefully while they are measuring and cutting, and Lord please help these young people who don't understand fractions but are in a job where they need to.
