- AHAbigail HillJan 4, 20262.0I shop here frequently but today I needed to make an exchange because I got the wrong color T-shirt and I had my receipt and I walk up and before I can even say anything the cashier says “we don’t sell champion T-shirts here” and was kinda rude and then called her manager over who said the same thing (and was even more rude) and then when I said I got it at this location a few days before Christmas and I have the receipt she told me to calm down! I am so serious I can’t get myself to have an attitude with employees even when I should, I work retail and wouldn’t dream of it. The next person they called up walked up and verified that they do in fact sell champion T-shirts and instead of apologizing both the manager and cashier said nothing and just did the return. I have never had a negative experience at this location so I am bummed that this happened.

No matter when I visit, the store is spotless, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which makes browsing enjoyable instead of overwhelming. It truly feels like something is always on sale, and the discounts are genuinely good, not just small markdowns. The selection is impressive—from craft supplies and DIY materials to home décor, seasonal items, and framing. Everything is neatly displayed and easy to find. What really stands out, though, is the friendly and helpful staff. Employees are always polite, approachable, and willing to help locate items or answer questions without making you feel rushed. Overall, Hobby Lobby offers a great shopping experience every time: clean store, great sales, quality products, and excellent customer service. I always leave with more than I planned to buy—and totally happy about it. Highly recommend

But when I walk into your store, prepared to spend more money than I'm asking you to discount because absolutely no one gave me a heads up that in 2 days the yarn was going on sale 30% off and I am met with such rudeness (as in, no one will just do a quick refund of the sale price difference and when I say "so, I have to have the yarn?" and she says " and you'll have to get it back off the shelf after the refund..." ) that is a level of rudeness that goes beyond just being unhelpful. That is saying we don't care one bit about your business. We just want the money. Which means. While I spent about $20 more than I should have because I came 2 days early, they lost the $50 or so I would have spent buying MORE yarn because it was on sale. Shame on you, Hobby Lobby! The confusing signage that means I don't always get to buy what I picked up is bad. The exceptions on discounted items when the ad clearly says "ALL" is sneaky and underhanded. This is straight up rude and ridiculous! As much as I don't want to shop online and I want to support local businesses, when they treat me better than this. They're getting my business instead of you!
