    Came in and picked up some lumber. I watch CJ at the pro desk walk around in circles for a few minutes while waiting in line. So I go up to the pro desk he’s behind and ask him to ring up my material. He tells me he isn’t open. I asked if he was o. The clock and he said yes. I said there is a card reader right here. He walks off. I get an assistant manager who comes up and rings me up. He agreed Cj should have Rang me up. C J needs to go kick rocks.

    Not a happy shopper! I purchased 2 quarts of chalk paint, 1 too many! Payed $49.16 online, did not have my receipt, but I brought phone in showing purchase and card used. They refunded me for a pint, $37.23. I needed to purchase a few items, one of which was rust oleum. There were $2 off signs in front of them, but the actual product was on the bottom shelf. Lady at the self serve registers said she couldn’t help me but to take pictures which I did. Walked back and forth 3 times trying to figure things out. She was a short lady, dark hair and glasses. She could have offered to get me some help but was too busy playing on her phone. Ridiculous! Walked out very unsatisfied either way my experience.

    Saturday traffic to and around Lowes was incredibly congested on Saturday. Staff was very attentive and helpful and checkout lines were short and moved pretty fast, considering. They had everything I needed at a good price too.

    Lowe’s sold us a Lowe’s branded, wireless, no-touch toilet. After two years, the electronics malfunctioned. I kept the only “manual” that came in the original box, which was actually just a single sheet of paper with very basic assembly instructions and a Lowe’s support phone number to call in case of trouble. I called the support phone number, and the woman who answered spoke very broken English. I don’t hate her for that, but the breakdown in communication caused problems. After making it clear that my problem was with an electronic toilet, and after I gave her the Lowe’s item number so she could pull it up on her end, I worked with her for about thirty minutes to diagnose the problem. I discovered at the end of that period, though, that when she had been saying toilet “bowl”, what she was actually trying to say was toilet “valve”. With that cleared up, she assured me that the problem was the valve, and that she would send a free replacement one. We ended the phone call, and I logged into my email to see the order verification she just sent… for a valve meant for an old style, non-electronic toilet. Lowe’s, you can either hire phone support techs who know what they’re doing, or you can put a full manual in the box so users can diagnose and fix it themselves. But you have to do at least one of those, you can’t just skip out on both options and screw over your customers.
