- VSVance ShawDec 20, 20231.0Had them come out 10/24/22. Have 2 chimneys, one for a wood burning stove, and one for a fireplace. The one for the stove was blocked. After they left, I built a fire in the stove. Filled my house with smoke. Called them back, they were too busy to come back, so I rented a sewer auger, and cleaned it myself. Got about a cubic foot of creosote. Worked fine after that. Two months later, the built a fire in the fireplace and ignited a chimney fire. Fortunately I have a metal roof, so all the burning debris raining down on my roof didn't catch my house on fire.
