They did not have the length I needed, so I gathered up some longer boards and was planning on getting them cut at the store so they would fit in my vehicle. I waited, no one was working in the lumber section. I walked up front and asked the cashier for help. She paged someone for assistance. I walked back and waited. No one came. At that time I had been waiting about 15 minutes. I asked another employee, who was walking buy, for help. He told me he would find someone to help. I waited about another 10 minutes. I finally left the boards on the cart and left! This is not the first time there was no help available in this store!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
