    Have had the absolute worst experience with Lowes this past month. Recently purchased a patio set and one of the small side tables was missing a leg. I called Lowes to try to get a replacement leg and was told to call the manufacturer for them to send the leg. Reached out to the manufacturer and after talking to them for 25 minutes I’m told that I have to return all of the furniture to the store - which has already been put together and used in order to get one leg for a small side table. This is on top of ordering the furniture in the store and the order being in transport from another store for a week while it turns out it was in stock at this store the entire time. This whole process has been a nightmare and do not recommend ordering anything from them.

    Do not waste your time ordering things online as they apparently put a hold charge on your bank account. I have been charged multiple times for an order I picked up a month ago. Stay away from Lowes…

    Lowe's used to be a great place to buy home improvement supplies. I'm a frequent shopper at Lowe's in Hixson for years. However, since about 2022 this store along with the others have became a nightmare. First, material carts are always unavailable. They are either outside spread along the parking lot or being used for a pickup order. I spent 15 minutes looking for a flat cart for sheet goods. I had to walk outside to the parking lot to get a cart sitting in the middle of a parking spot. Not even in the cart corral. As I was walking in there were 3 employees gathered together either looking at their phones or grab-assing... While I was walking around looking for a cart, no one asked me if I needed assistance. One employee said hello and kept on walking. Stark contrast to Home Depot. Every department I walked in someone asked me if I needed help. I guess introverts go to Lowe's and extroverts go to HD? Lumber is always full of pickup orders and is difficult to navigate most of the time. And what's up with not running the A/C when it's 80 degrees outside. Makes it miserable to shop at this store. Concerned about energy usage? Put solar panels on the roof. I don't want to shop and sweat. Rewards program is ridiculous. You earn $5 and if you don't use it you lose it. No warning, it's just here today and gone tomorrow. And you can only redeem $5 at a time and it takes forever for the next $5 reward to load. Pricing, deals, and discounts. The Lowe's card is nice. Automatic 5% at the swipe of the card. No hoops or fine print. Painless. Pricing has been disappointing. But that's everywhere... However, some of this stuff is artificially price inflated because they can. Deals and discounts are few and far between. To get quantity discounts you have to buy a huge amount. Not the way it was in the past. When I was loading my material 23/32 osb, the cashier never asked if I needed assistance loading nor were there anyone present in the loading bay. Needless to say. I'm disappointed in Lowe's and their customer service. They used to be fantastic. Now they are fizzling out. Retail is dying not because of pricing but because of lack of customer service. If the customer service is good I will go out of my way to shop there. If the customer service is bad I will never shop at that location again.

    I had ordered pallets of mulch and pine straw to be delivered to my home. When the truck arrived, the driver Chad noticed the load had shifted. He took the extra time to take it apart and stack it before dropping it off. I appreciate his caring attitude while making the delivery.

    Two major issues, staff and incorrect online inventory: Some staff are so rude, they will flat out ignore you. I was maybe 10 feet away from a staff member, it was not busy or loud in the area we were in. I repeatedly said "excuse me, Sir" and even moved myself closer to him. I know he heard me because he turned & looked right at me and then continued walking away from me without a word. My previous trip to the store, an older woman near me was treated so rude by staff that she put her stuff down and made sure to tell them exactly why they lost her business, then she walked out. Inventory online doesn't match what is actually in stock. I made a special trip to this store for an item showing 4 in stock, but when I got to the store there were none in stock and the staff member confirmed that the online inventory was wrong and he said this happens a lot so it's better to call and ask someone to physically check the shelf before making a trip to the store. He then had to adjust the 4 items out of inventory. I had to pay almost $50 more for the alternative item and the staff refused to discount the price since I made the special trip based on their inventory information and now had to overpay for the next best thing.
