    Store sign says that it closes at 9, arrived at 8:58pm with a customer who needed some pvc to get their furnace running. Was told by the store rep that their system shuts down before 9. If so, why does the signage state 9?

    If I could give this Lowe’s a negative 50 stars I would! Here is my side before this billion dollar company pays to have this removed. Currently live in Hendersonville, TN which is a suburb of Nashville. We currently are having an ice storm of a generation in sub degrees weather plus me and my wife came down with the flu. So i went to Lowe’s in Hendersonville and bought a $1100 generator, gas can and left. Got home, tried to start it and it wouldn’t stay running after 2 hours of troubleshooting in sub degree temperatures . I then called Westinghouse and they troubleshooted but couldn’t figure it out either. My wife then called Lowe’s and they said no issue bring it back and they will do their best to help us since it’s 7* degrees out. So we get to Lowe’s and explained the situation that we just got the generator AND WERE TOLD BY BIG BAD ASSISTANT MANAGER SHEILA that there is nothing anyone can do since we put gas in it as she points to the return policy at the front desk, which was nowhere in sight or explained to us at the time of purchase. As a man who has worked in retail for over 30 years I completely understand the escalation process. Ask for the store manager info and was told “ I’m the ASSISTANT MANAGER and I make ALL THE DECISIONS!”. So I asked for the district managers info (WHICH I WAS ONE AT ONE POINT!!) and was told no I’m not giving you that info just call customer service which just closed 5 minutes ago. Let me remind you all of this is captured on CCTV, plus the return policy states that you have 48 hours to return the product if your not satisfied. To put salt in the wound, the manager to us that she was going home to a cold house too!!! Unreal, shame on Lowe’s to hire someone with this poor customer service skills! I understand retail 2000%, but this low level of customer service is uncalled for especially when Tennessee is in a State or Emergency in sub degree temperatures, my wife is crying , I have the flu and left feel laughed at by the 5 staff members laughing at my wife CRYING because we have no power and were just trying to keep our family warm!!! Stay away from this place, you have been warned. I will continue to escalate this until it gets to the CEO and maybe, just maybe they will care about their customers trying to keep their families warm during a historical ice storm.

    I changed my review to 2 Stars because of my experience today. I will issue this warning- DO NOT BUY SPECIAL ORDER PRODUCTS AT LOWES. They stink at it. I had to have a screen for a patio door replaced. The associate got the info and was supposed to send to Jeld Wenn for replacement. I came back a month later and found out their order was never sent to Jeld Wen. They apologized and said they would take care of it. This was Jan 8th. i went back today - Feb 11th and the same exact thing happened. So they supposedly ordered it FOR SURE this time and I have to wait another 2-4 weeks. Lowe's has good great value in their Kobalt brand. This location could use some more people. I guarantee the response will be AI generated. Here's what it will say- "I'm sorry for your bad experience. Please call to discuss so we can win your trust back." Too late.
