- ARAriel RiezingerFeb 1, 20264.0Alex Malamud is the main reason we purchased our Lazy Boy couches! He was patient and kind, and very thorough. That being said, the other employees were very rude and disrespectful to Alex, right in front of me. Had he not given us the amazing customer service, I would’ve walked out. He deserves better than how he was treated by coworkers in front of guests. The furniture is great quality, but be careful which employee you work with. I recommend Alex alone.

However at one point she had to get the store manager, Jean, regarding special pricing and Jean was quite rude to her and made it very clear that she didn’t really have the time to help her all within earshot of us. She did come over to help but was very short and her tone was very dismissive. If it wasn’t for Sandra’s extensive knowledge and helpfulness we would’ve taken our business elsewhere. I really hope that this is not normal behavior for Jean and that maybe she was just having an off day.
