  We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Happy Backyards! We purchased an in-ground basketball goal almost a year ago, right as we kicked off some major outdoor renovations. Between the pool project and waiting on our new driveway, it ended up taking until this November to finally be ready for installation. Throughout the whole process, the team at Happy Backyards was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. They guided my husband and son every step of the way with advice and recommendations, never making us feel rushed even though we sat on the goal for months. A special shout-out to our installer—he was absolutely amazing! He stayed in constant communication with me, checking in regularly to see if we were ready. I always felt bad when I had to say “not quite yet,” but he was always gracious, understanding, and reassuring. When the day finally came, he showed up and knocked it out perfectly. The goal itself is fantastic—sturdy, professional-grade, and exactly what we hoped for. Our son is obsessed and plays on it every single day. My husband and I love it too; it’s already become the centerpiece of our backyard and a true family gathering spot. Thank you, Happy Backyards, for the outstanding customer service, the top-quality product, and for making this long-delayed project feel effortless in the end. This basketball goal is a slam dunk (literally!) and worth every penny. Highly, highly recommend! 🏀

  I'm more than a little surprised to see several areas of mold buildup on the playground less than six months after install. $15K installed. Called Happy Backyards and their advice was to power wash it, at my own expense and time (which will also remove some stain). They also said "it's wood so it might do that". They said it can be more likely to mold in a shady area but the set is in direct sunlight, especially over the winter months as the trees have no leaves. I'm happy to pay more for high quality products, and I was under the impression Happy Backyards fit into that category. Given the durability through just one winter season, I don't see this playground holding up very well at all. They say the red cedar is decay resistant and works great for outdoor playgrounds but it seems inferior to the much cheaper playground a friend installed from a Lowes boxset. A big selling point was the durability of the playground and they ensured me it would last decades. I'm highly skeptical of that at this point.

  Purchased a playground set for our HOA from Tom and the team here. Great to work with, communication was good despite the supply chain challenges of 2022. Really like the fact we dealt with local reps and installers vs a big national chain with lots of subcontractors. Equipment is very high quality and should last a very long time. Would definitely use them again.
