Someone buys you a gift for Christmas and you want to return it. You can't get money back unless the purchaser was informed and walked the tight rope of rules to be followed just to buy a gift. Now the only way I get a gift is if I get it at Lowes. Ill shop elsewhere and advise all others to do the same. Why do companies want to be downright awful to customers when we are shopping at their stores. Hope this helps make a lot of peoples minds up to go somewhere else. I am.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
