I had 2 paint cards and asked if they could make a sample of the paint cards but a shade lighter. They told me they are unable to "make up colors" and that they "need an exact card" of what I want. How am I supposed to find the exact card when they have such a limited selection. The paint ladies on 1/16/2026 couldn't have been more rude, unhelpful, and lazy. Do better Lowe's. Time to cancel my Lowe's credit card and join Home Depot.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
