Hello my wife and I needed some new cabinets for our kitchen remodel and we shopped around even making a stop over at home depot but unfortunately for them, I take my business where I get treated with care and concern, the women at home depot thought she can get away with being nasty and rude. I tried speaking to her manager but he was just as nasty and a bully, it was a complete waste of time and money, you see the trick they use is they charge you 149.00 dollars to have a guy come out and measure and of course you will not get an accurate quote without the measurements, this is what the blonde old lady told us, we believe her, had the measurements taken but this is where the rudeness begins because she knows that you are out 149.00 dollars if you dont purchase any cabinets, they will apply the 149.00 towards the purchase but again you have to purchase the cabinets. She was so Rude and Nasty and decided to quote is 14,000 dollars
I asked to speak to her manager who will not let you put in a word.
Just for the record most people are very nice at the home depot and i will continue to shop there, I will not stop shopping because of a few bad apples that work there .
We went to Lowe's in Alcoa, let me tell you the service was first class, we had the pleasure of getting Christina she has many awards for her outstanding customers support and believe me when I tell you Christina is so passionate and patient working with your kitchen design her personality is so sweet. I highly recommend going to see her for your cabinets needs also they only ask for a 75.00 deposit for the measurements but that goes towards the purchase, we ended up with an incredible deal because Christina took the time to tell us about a 30% Discount that was coming and we paid a total of 8,134.00 not even close to the 14,000 that the nasty rude blonde Grey hair lady at the home depot quoted us plus the people at Lowe's are also very nice, our installer nane is Scott one of the nicest man I have met in my life, and he does excellent work so dont forget to ask for Scott the installer he has 42 years of experience.

Much more easier to negotiate ausie than HD.
That being said my last visit was difficult getting to checkout as I waited in line in the main aisle because 2 carts cannot negotiate the issue at the same time .
Are they telling us they do not want us in their store?
My retired FBI friend told me Lowes agreed with the govt to have License plate readers in their parking lots
I have nothing to hide but this is wrong and a privacy issue.
I have found more of my hardware needs locally or online from or 'free shipping' smaller outlets .

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
