    Beware! I did an online delivery on 11Dec2025. I ordered a framing hammer and it said they had 3 in stock in a near by store. It was on sale and even with a $80 shipping fee (insane to think about but even with his fee it was still significantly cheaper than full price) I got my confirmation and for weeks leading up to the expected delivery date,which at first was around 20Dec2025, I would receive almost daily texts asking if the delivery date still worked and if course I said yes. Well 3 weeks go by and the weekend before it is supposed to get delivered I got another confirmation text asking if Monday would still work and if course I said yes. Then the next morning they change it without my approval to the 24thDec2025. I thought that was strange but was still excited to get it delivered. Well the morning of delivery I get a call and they say they are now out of stock and won't be getting anymore in. Which under normal circumstances would be fine. However I placed this order 3 weeks earlier and there was 3 in stock. I even paid $80 extra to have it delivered. I received almost daily confirmation texts about the delivery date. At no point in time did they every check inventory and tell me they didn't have one. You would also think once and order is placed and paid for they would pull the item off the self and start to prepare for delivery. At no point during the absurd 3 week delivery window did they do anything. They deliberately went out of their way to build up my hopes about receiving the item just to call me that morning and tell me I'm SOL and I had already taken on jobs that I needed that framing nailer for which won't be done now (I'm a disabled veteran with a crippling back injury that makes it hard to do anything). This company has destroyed my trust in them and any respect I had for them is gone out the window. I will go out of my way now to only buy from home Depot or a local lumber yard. I will tell this occurrence of events to everyone I meet that wants me to do any projects for them about this and how horrible the customer service has been through the whole process. I hope any self respecting individual will read this and make the decision that literally any company is better to do business with than Lowe's. Lowe's will go out of their way to build up your hope and expectations just so they can come and tear it all down and laugh all the way to the bank.

    Thank you Lowes for the reply. Sorry to say I've seen this response to several previous reviews . Thus this reply means little without action. Let me know when I'll see more cashiers, so I can buy from Lowe's again. Answer here please.-- T’was 4 days before Christmas and all thru Alcoa, TN Lowe’s, Not a cashier was stirring as customers who didn’t storm out lined up and groaned. The self-checkout lights flickered green & red customer service was cold & dead. Customers swapped lines to pay as they chose if they could decipher Lowe’s oddball codes. One poor trainee got the assignment to assist people who wanted their goods. T’was management’s fault she was untrained a lost ball in high weeds deep in the woods. The sugarplums wouldn’t scan and neither would the nails for the poor lost lass. And dare we to ask for help with pine straw from the trailer on that she did pass. I called the store to get help with my pine straw and yelled HUMAN at the AI robot. I can help you, I can help you said the bot HUMAN was not programmed or it just forgot. Sadly we had to ask a HUMAN ourselves for the needed assistance a friendly soul. Santa please give from the corporate office to whoever thought this would work COAL!! COAL nothing but COAL to Lowe’s management top to bottom until customer service returns. I shop Lowe’s over Home Depot for the 5% discount offered, but today it wasn’t EVEN worth it. Hey Home Depot post this review at every cashier stand and put some more cashiers to work as Lowe’s has no use for them and I’ll see you for pine straw in the spring.

    Trying to contact this store is very difficult. They use an Ai Agent that you connect with that is virtually useless. When it finally connects you to the store you either get a busy signal, most of the time, or nobody answers. Have dealt with many other Lowe's in different areas of the country and never experienced this very poor customer service.
