Ok…a week ago I was trying to help my husband out. Lowe’s was delivering a new refrigerator to rental property, but he had something come up at work. As soon as he got the call from delivery driver he texted me and I left to meet them. As I was pulling up to the house, I saw a Lowe’s truck heading north at the corner. I got the number of the driver from my husband and tried to call. They claimed they waited 15 minutes but I don’t believe it. They wouldn’t come back even after I called the store. The fridge was still on the truck. I was still at the house. Store PROMISED it would then be delivered the next day but it wasn’t delivered until 2 days later. Store says delivery people are contracted and they couldn’t make them go back. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don’t care that they are contracted, they are driving a truck with your company name on it. Absolutely ruined my day and I have no intention of ever shopping there again.

I went to Lowe's in Sioux Falls on April 2nd to buy a power tool and a gift card. It took a while till I finally found someone that I thought could help me. They said they had to find someone that could unlock the tool. I waited about 10 minutes and he didn't come back. I found another person that I was hoping could help me but they didn't have the magnet key either. After finally getting the tool I was waiting for I headed to checkout. Of course self checkout. Someone had to help me check out because of the power tool and the gift card. After I paid for everything I selected to print the receipt, I got the receipt then a message popped up on the display saying the gift card failed to load. It's a good thing I was still standing there when the message came up. The next part of wasting my time was having to head to customer service. They were not able to load the card, told me I had to get another card. I was not impressed with the fact that they have to credit me back the $100 for the gift card and it takes about a week till I get my $100 back and I had to pay another $100 if I wanted the new card loaded. If I buy a gift card, stop at customer service to be sure it got loaded before you leave the store.

I would give 0 reviews, but heard if you give 1 it’s easier to pay to remove the review. We have previously bought a washer and dryer from Lowes in 2023. It started out as not being balanced when installed and causing dents in the brand new wall, they wouldn’t come back to fix it because it was past the 48 hour warranty… we have had to go through the brand’s warranty and they sent out a technician to balance it. We have had constant issues with the washer and dryer. After the 1 year brand warranty we were on the 5 year Lowe’s warranty. I have had to put in several claims to Lowe’s for a repair, then they send a company from Iowa to help repair. They have been “repaired” by a 3rd person company by Lowes MANY times. That 3rd party wouldn’t ever call us when the part was delivered, we would have to call them. We have called and left messages to call us and still didn't get a call back. There would be 3 weeks between calls. They would close our claims before coming to see the issue, then a new case would have to be opened. They have been to our house at least 15 times and has ordered many different parts to “fix” the issues yet it is still happening. The washer is putting stains on our clothes almost looks like grease. We have cleaned the washer many times and changed detergent and stopped using softener, all the recommendations given to us by the repairmen (use powder detergent, use liquid cascade, don’t use softener, use vinegar, clean machine with afresh) It still is happening. A repairman from 2 visits ago states that they were going to have the machine deemed not repairable, yet that wasn’t done. The last repairman came out today 3/12/25 and states there is nothing else they can do and to contact your company. For the dryer, we can’t use a regular cycle. We are having to use a timed dry for each load. If we don’t use a timed load, the dryer will continue to “dry” until you stop it. A sensor has been replaced twice and it is still happening. We have spent a fair amount of money and time on these products and it’s all been a waste. Products: Whirlpool Wed8127Ic Whirlpool Wtw8127Ic We have not had good experiences with whirlpool and would like to see if we can get these replaced as they are not repairable. Every time Lowe’s is in contact, they state we have to put a claim in. It’s a constant cycle of nothing getting done. DO NOT recommend Lowe’s at all. They will do anything to not take accountability for selling and installing horrible items. Whirlpool has been aware and states they can’t do anything since the warranty is through Lowe’s.
