    The guys at this Lowe’s are amazing!!! We had the ultimate pleasure of working with Patrick, Jim, Randy, and Halen (who helped us out today for a total of 4 hours). They were super helpful and friendly, and now we look forward to seeing “our guys” anytime we have to go to Lowe’s. 10/10 would recommend.

    Been calling the appliance department for 6 days straight, no one answers the phone. Left 7 messages, no one returns calls. Guess since they already have our money they aren’t worried about responding to a concern regarding the large purchase we just made. Shop elsewhere!

    The ordering system is a complete failure and has been for some time. My fridge recently stopped cooling, so naturally I needed a new one. Having ordered online, the assumption was that all was in order and the system indicated that the fridge I purchased was most certainly in stock. However, I receive a call the day of delivery that the fridge is unavailable. I used to work at Lowe's in delivery and any indications of potential issues were brought to the attention of the customer well before delivery date. The Lowe's in Rapid City seems to fail at just about every function, whether that be true inventory figures, communication, and all other critical business factors. So, I was informed that the fridge could be delivered on Saturday. That would be a feasible option if my current fridge worked, but seeing as it in fact is not, Saturday becomes a major problem. Perhaps Lowe's could pay for lost grocery costs due to the company's incompetence, but we all know that this is never going to come to fruition. Such a sad state of affairs when these types of incidents occur and customers end up getting the shaft. Good business and help really are hard to find in today's world. Be mindful of Lowe's incessant blunders if you choose to give them your business where appliance delivery is concerned. UPDATE: The delivery experience was exceptional, as Wallace and Dexter were both professional, courteous, and operated in sync with one another. Having been a delivery deiver and appliance installer for 3 years, I know how demanding that position truly can be, so I prepped as much as possible to help them out. Such a phenomenal experience with the delivery crew inspired me to change my rating from a 1 to a 3 alone. Now, let's see if Lowe's can do better with the online ordering system. The owner did reach out to my initial review to express the company's sincerest apologies for causing a delay in delivery. That I appreciated as well as it showcases a sense of awareness for the issues and the devotion to attempt to rectify such as best as possible. Dexter and Wallace deserve a great deal of praise for their professionalism, courtesy, and timeliness.
