  I am buying a home in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and a friend recommended this Extra Space Location. From the minute I placed the first call-the staff was a ray of sunshine ☀️over the phone-patient-kind-took the time to go over pricing and answer questions. When I decided to go with them, the manager Jeffrey called me Personally to thank me for the business and to welcome me to South Carolina! Wow!

  I originally rented my space in June, 2025. I was given a great rate of $80 for three 10x10 units, which I thought was wonderful, but wasn’t told it was an introductory rate. I rented three 10x10 units all right next to each other. A few months later I received a postcard saying my rent was going up to $140 for all 3 units. Still not too bad. Then I did some rearranging of my stuff and realized I could fit everything into two units. I called to cancel one of the units and was told that I could not because the three were sold as one. This did not make sense, but ok. So I’m left with one empty unit that they could have rented out to someone else. Then in February (still less than a year after I moved in) I received notice that my rent was increasing to $265 per month! I called and was told that was the lowest they could go. That’s when I found Extra Room Storage on art 501. They are awesome. They gave me a great intro rate and explained right up front that is for 3 months. Then they told me my regular monthly rate, which is close to HALF of what Extra Storage was going to charge AND they guarantee it for a year. Extra Storage hosed me. I saved so much by going to Extra ROOM Storage instead. Extra Storage does not use good business practices. I will never use them again and will discourage my friends and family from using them as well.

  Jeff is the best!! He makes me feel like all my stuff is safe and secure and in the best storage place possible! He really comes out and checks in with everyone personally and goes above and beyond. Plus keeps the place super clean! 5 star service!

  I’ve rent with this storage place for over a year now and Jeff has always went above and beyond to help me with any needs I have. I really appreciate him as he is prompt and always a smiling face. Highly recommend.
