- RERaven EmanuelApr 8, 20261.0This Lowe's location has been one of the worst stores to deal with when it comes to truck deliveries and unloading. The staff often do not acknowledge drivers when they arrive, and the attitude from employees is frequently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Drivers are made to wait for hours past their scheduled appointment times before being unloaded — even when arriving on time or early. In my experience, waiting over three hours beyond the appointment time has become unacceptable and directly affects a driver’s ability to stay on schedule. This kind of delay causes delivery companies and drivers to lose valuable time and revenue, especially when they have other scheduled loads to pick up or deliver. Time is money in transportation, and this store’s poor workflow creates unnecessary setbacks. What makes the situation worse is that when concerns are brought to management, there seems to be little to no concern or accountability. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, management often appears dismissive of the very real impact these delays have on drivers and carriers. Corporate seriously needs to look into this store’s operations, receiving process, and overall treatment of delivery drivers. There needs to be better organization, more respect for scheduled appointment times, and a stronger sense of professionalism in how drivers are treated.

This is the third time I’ve had this experience with Lowe’s in general. The staff can obviously tell you are about to ask for help and they book it to any direction. It’s the Walmart of home improvement stores.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
