I used it in 14" high raised beds for growing tomatoes, peppers, beans, Swiss chard, cantaloupes, etc. Everything is growing beautifully. Henson's also provided me with the name of a local landscaping contractor, Steve Lanford, who does thoughtful and careful work at very reasonable prices. He had the heavy equipment needed for our rocky and steeply sloped property. I'll be contacting Hensons again for mulch and another load of compost
