USE SOMEONE ELSE! While our initial experience was great, everything else was a nightmare. We had a tech come out to our home for a termite treatment, and he unfortunately busted our waterline. We were very understanding as we knew it was just an accident. We spoke to his boss, and he was able to get a plumber out that same night. Unfortunately, they had to use a jackhammer on our concrete patio to get to the water line. Understandable. We reached back out to our tech’s boss. Send him pictures of the repair, and asked about the concrete repair. We have a patterned patio, and we knew a patch would look awful. So we asked if they could repair that half-shaped patch to make it a little more uniform. He said that wouldn’t be a problem. Then we never heard from them. Completely ghosted. My husband reached out to the manager, Austin, who then responded with “I’m so glad you reached out because I forgot”. How you forget that a client has an exposed water line and busted patio is beyond me. He assured us he would be reaching out to his concrete guys. No communication from him again. At the month mark of us not hearing anything from them, I called the office to see if I could speak to anyone else because obviously Austin can’t keep up with the workload. The receptionist was not that nice and told me I could only talk to Austin, and there was no one else. He apparently was out of the office that day but that she would pass along the message and I would hear back the next day. I didn’t. Shocking. So I got Austin’s number from my husband, and at this point, it’s been 34 days. He again states he will be reaching back out to his concrete guy and he would CALL me the next day. He didn’t call; he texted me that the concrete guy would be at my house the following week, likely Wednesday. But that he would be in contact with me the closer we get. Guess what! No communication. Wednesday rolls around, so I text Austin to confirm the repair. Apparently, he was sick earlier in the week and couldn’t do it. But that he could be at my house the next day. Concrete guy finally shows up at my house, but Austin says he doesn’t want to fix the half shape due to the water line being there. Austin assures me that the patch will look “nice; concrete is his thing.” Whatever, at this point I just need it patched so the line isn’t exposed. Just like I thought. The patch looks awful. So I recommend looking elsewhere for your pest service, and it is very unfortunate as we were initially very happy with APEX. I don’t think the client has to reach out to the company as many times as we did to get repairs for damages they caused. Also I don’t know if it was refund or what but we randomly got a check back from them when we closed on the house. No idea what that was for. Overcharged? Or was it a refund so they didn’t have to repair the damage? No idea.
