Even tho ill still buy some things from Lowes, they are terrible for any installations. I am a very busy person. First i bought a garbage disposal that they were paid to installs. 5 cancelations i ended up having to do it myself due to this incompetent 3rd party venders and demand a refund. Bought a ceiling fan; more no call no shows and so I installed it myself and had to demand a refund for the installation that never happened.
Just got a washer/dryer combo. First one was damaged by factory and never made it in my drive way. 2nd one came... they only dropped off; not installed. My wife looked it. They canceled her first order but when leaving the 2nd order left off the install kit and labor that we paid for without telling us. They unboxed the washer/dryer on the truck. Then I find out the delivery driver left with the lint trap/filter when i tried doing the install; apparently the filter is on the top of the packing foam. I tried calling to let lowes what their driver has a critical part and got the run around. So now I am having to pay phone tag. They have had so many chances and failed every time.
I dont think lowes realize is frustrating it is to have to deal with this kind of failure.
Update: so lowes solution was to send another new combo from Grear. These guys were nice and asked about the situation. The get it in and helped prep it for installation.
